Coolio!!

Hey Fam!

Hahaha! That's awesome! So Jeff finally got that arcade project started, huh? That sounded like a cool project. I wish I could be there to work on it with him. Are you enticed to sell it at all? That's a smokin' deal! Thanks to Roger...That blog was really cool! I liked reading it and seeing all the pictures. I especially liked the picture by the Fine Arts Place...I've been there, wa-hoo! Maybe Roger can convince the rest of the family to send so pictures too!:)Well, Norman, Oklahoma is still good. The weather in Oklahoma is so annoying! Yesterday morning was great, except for the wind. It was like 68 degrees with 20-30mph winds and by 5pm it was freezing! It dropped to the 30's. The wind chill is so cold! I can't wait for it to get warm here and stay warm. There's nothing really new happening in the missionary work right now. Just doing my thing. Transfers were last week and my whole district is staying where they are. I love the area I'm in because it reminds me of St. George...sort of. From what I hear its the best place in Oklahoma. -Pictures- Norman Night Sky, Bowling before transfers, and The Training Posterity Bat! I added my name to the long line of Training Elders...and when I train, I'll hand it down to my companion.

All is well...Love you!-

Hey hey fam!

Well, it sounds like life is good back home! My Valentine's Day was better, actually, than when I wasn't on my mission. Weird, I know. I got a package from Kellie and a letter from another girl, plus some chocolates from different ward members! I also go a mystery card from home somewhere. It didn't have a name or address. The work is going great and we got five new investigators this week! One of which was a RLDS woman, so she is familiar with the church. Its so cool to see others become enlightend! Angie, the recent convert, is doing awesome and if you didn't know better, you'd think she has been a member her whole life. We were giving her a lesson the other day and someone called her and when she came back, she was like, "Oh, that was just sister Mullens. I'll just call her back in a while." It was so funny. It really feels like a member's home now, when we go over there. The next Transfer starts this week and I'm staing in Norman 2nd Ward with my same companion. He's a pretty good companion. ...a little about him...His name is Elder Dustin Krall and he's from Washington State. He has a mom and a dad and a younger sister. He attended a year of college at BYU Idaho. He can be very dry at times, but he's pretty cool. He loves the Simpsons, Classic Rock, and Nintendo. Its cool because we'll be walking down the street and all the suddent we'll start talking about SpongeBob, or the Simpsons, or Nintendo...its funny! Oh, I met a funny funny man the other day! We were talking to him about the church and such and he says, "Yeah, I believe in our Lord and I know God's up there." and this part reminded me of Rocky...he then says, looking up at the sky with his arms in the air and says, "HEY, YO!" It was awesome!I'm glad everyone seems to be doing great! The work is awesome, but all the other missionaries are always in a hurry, so I can't write anymore...so until next week...take care! oh, and thanks for the e-mails.

Angie was baptized, by me, on February 9th! It was so cool..and a lot easier than I expected! Other than that, the work is still here and I am as well, so it is! Everything is going great...except for the wind, its going in my face everytime I go outside...oof! I hate the wind! Love you all! Hope to hear from you soon! -Love Elder Osness

My Family...:)

Well, another week gone...so crazy! Time is just wizzing by! We had a really good Zone Conference last week and it gave me some extra encouragement to commit people. The night of the meeting, my companion and I committed Angie to baptism! She had no hesitation and wants to be baptized. She's an awesome investigator and loves the gospel. Saturday we will be baptizing her! Hopefully her sons will fallow in her footsteps. I gave away to Books of Mormon yesterday! I met three really cool people, none of which I get to teach...Lame! Two of them live in a different area and the other was a student at the University, so we had to give him to the Sister Missionaries that are over the students. At least I could assist in their interest. One of the guys I met while getting lunch and I gave him a Book of Mormon and another I met in Ross while I was buying a tie. We started talking about ties, then that led to why he was buying a tie and talking about his family and wife, to Jesus. He loves Jesus! and he looked like Tupac. That was kinda trippy. There are some really cool people here...everywhere I'm sure! and they're all looking for some enlightenment. That's what we're here for, to share the good word and help them to come unto Christ. I got to see the Prophet's funeral, did you? It was really good. The new Presidency will be great! I really like the way President Eyering talks about the gospel. In the movie, "Small and Simple Things," it shows how much he really cares about this gospel. Very good encouragement for everyone to do missionary work. ...by small and simple things, great things come to pass...Well life is good for me. Let me know how things are everywhere else.

Love you all!

Oh Family,

Another week gone. How's the fam doing? Anything new going on? I've had some interesting door replies this week. One didn't answer and just asked who we were, so we told them we were the missionaries and she replied "keep walking!" Another guy was way funny! He opened and let us say who we were then interrupted and said, "I don't care about none of that ****! Why don't you just leave?" So we said have a nice day and continued on our way. Most people are pretty nice, but every so often we get some funny guy like that. The works been good. My companion and I have a couple people really close to baptism, so that's exciting.I put some pictures on here. One is somewhat the scenery of Oklahoma, another is my desk, and the last is of me standing next to an ATM machine where I put my Missionary Support Funds (msf) card and accidently entered the wrong pin and it "Retained" my card...enjoy!I have a request for mom...or who ever. I go through a ton of water every day and when summer comes around I may be in trouble without a camelback. It would have to be big enough to hold my scriptures, extra Books of Mormon, and some other things depending on what I'm doing, but if I could get one sent out here that would be great. The MTC bag they had me get won't hardly take care of my water needs...Hope to hear from you soon! Love you all!...could you forward this to everyone...and just to make sure did you forward my last one to every one? I think I'll start sending you my weekly e-mail and Malissa can take from my e-mails and what ever else I write her and put it on my blog.

Love ya,

Elder Glenn Osness
