My Family,
Well, Another week come and gone. This week went by way fast! I can't even remember anything from it. We're still just teaching the same people and other people are still just satisfied with life and don't want to talk to us, but that's the way life goes as a missionary. The sun really wears you out pretty quick. It was 107 the other day. yuk! Ithink I spoke too soon last week...now August is here and Its really hot...with hot wind...like home. Tracting tracting tracting, oh, all the time in the heat. Yep, that's me! Ough! Next transfer we should be getting some baptisms though...I hope. With one investigator with a date and an awesome family of five we've been teaching, there's some promise. The family we've been teaching has a problem with the nececity of baptism, but they said they understand where it comes from and are sure God will answere their prayers. We've been teaching at a member's home and our last lesson started off a little wacky. We told the members we were going to teach Lesson 3 (The Gospel of Jesus Christ), so they looked at it and read it and new how to help, but one of them just got a little over anxious and started talking about the temple and being sealed and just going way over their heads. It was annoying, but her husband helped us out and got it back to the lesson...oof! Besides that, everything is great and the family is still openminded and wanting to learn more...just with more questions about things we want to cover at a later time.We also went out to the far ends of our area...Coyle. There's nothin'! Just a bunch of people who hate life, but some of them were friendly, but the dogs sure weren't. We were biking and a dog starts barking and growling...then jolting full speed after us...yup, so we biked faster...Ha! dumb dog! The picture is me looking at the map in Coyle. There were a few good things about it...clouds, but still 100+ degrees.Well Love ya'll. Hope to hear from you soon!Oh, so is there a package headed my way? You know, the one that was going to get sent after the Family Reunion. Oh, and I'm training a new missionary. I find out all about him tomorrow.
Take care:)-Elder Osness
